Vanessa and David are enjoying their beautiful lives in the suburbs of Georgia. Unannounced, a childhood friend of Vanessa's shows up to her doorstep seeking to rekindle their relationship. So happy to see her old friend, she takes her in with open arms not knowing that she is running from a violent past that is slowly catching up to her.

Vanessa and David have the perfect suburban life in Georgia... until an unwelcome visitor surfaces out of nowhere: Vanessa's childhood friend. It is a joyous occasion for Vanessa as she tries to reconnect with long lost friend, not realizing that the latter hides a sinister secret. What unfolds next is an unbearable amount of tension as their once peaceful household turns into a nightmare filled with danger and discomforting truths. This movie kept me at the edge with its psychological drama and turning events, masking the truth until the very end. If you enjoy being shocked and love movies depicting obsession, betrayal and deception, "The Bad Visitor" should go straight to the top of your list.
